At Anderson our Counseling Program is an important part of the social, emotional, and academic growth of our students.  Here are a few opportunities available through Anderson Elementary's counseling program for our Anderson All-Stars:

Friendship Groups: Small group guidance opportunities are available to help students build positive friendships, self-esteem, and social skills.   

Individual Student Support Services: Support services including individual counseling, community connections, interventions, and consultation is available to all students to help ensure their continued success throughout the school year.

Please fill out the Counseling Permission Form if you would like your child to have the opportunity to attend individual or group counseling sessions.

Anderson Student Programs: Our All-Star Mentors, Manner's Matter, Motivational Character Rallies, N.E.A.T. Student Attendance Incentives, Character Incentives, and Watch D.O.G.S. programs are offered at various times during the school year to help maximize the All-Star experience for our students!

WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) WANTED!

WATCH D.O.G.S. is a national program that was started with the goal of getting father figures in schools to provide extra security and support for students.  We are looking for fathers and father figures who can find a day to volunteer this year at Anderson and make a huge difference in student's lives!!  If you are interested in signing up please contact Mr. Mitchell or click the links below to go to our Anderson WATCH D.O.G.S. page where you can register to be a WATCH D.O.G., complete your background check, and sign-up to be a WATCH D.O.G. for a day on our Watch Dog calendar.
